Silicone patches designed for C-section (caesarean section) and hysterectomy scars.
With Epi-Derm silicone gel technology, you can heal your surgical scars easily and comfortably.
Step by step:
1. wash your hands and scar area.
2. Open the bag containing the silicone patch.
3. the silicone gel is covered on both sides by a plastic film. Remove both sides of the plastic before use.
4. the patch can be cut into smaller pieces with scissors or a scalpel. Once you have decided which size to use, apply the sticky side to the scar. The gel layer should completely cover the scar and extend about half a cm around the edge of the scar.
Tip: Save the protective film so you can protect the sticky side of the patch when you're not using it!
Use:
The Epi-derm patch should be used for approximately 12 hours per day, but preferably more. Wash according to the instructions after each use. Can be used under clothing without any problems and can be easily cut and customized for your particular scar.
The total optimal treatment period is 8 to 12 weeks for best results.
Cleaning:
Remove the patch every 12 hours to wash both the scar and the patch with soap (SilqueClenz™) in warm water, working up a small amount of suds with the soap. Gently wash the gel in soapy water, then rinse and air dry. After washing, rinsing and drying the scar area, reapply the patch.
