Below we list the most common plastic surgery procedures with recommendations on how these scars can be treated.
Breast surgery:
Breast surgery involves breast augmentation or breast reduction and is used to change the size and shape of the breasts. It is often performed to increase the size of the breasts, to improve their shape or to restore a more youthful appearance.

Face:
Ögonlockskirurgi, eller blepharoplasty, är en typ av plastikkirurgi som används för att korrigera hängande övre och/eller nedre ögonlock. Proceduren används ofta för att skapa ett mer ungdomligt och fräscht utseende.

Rhinoplasty: Rhinoplasty is a type of facial plastic surgery used to reshape the nose. This means that the size, shape and/or structure of the nose is changed to create a more aesthetically pleasing appearance.
For rhinoplasty scars, the Dermasof Silk Serum Pro-sil stick or the Xeragel ointment are mainly recommended. The three products contain our unique silicone technology but in different forms; silky serum, flexible cerate form and classic salve. You choose which formula suits you best!
Abdominoplasty:
A tummy tuck, also called a tummy tuck, is a type of plastic surgery used to remove excess skin and fat from the abdomen. It is often used to create a flatter, more toned abdominal area.
Abdominoplasty uses Epi-derm Long strip, which is designed for incisions in the lower abdomen. As a supplement, the Pro-sil suppository and Xeragel ointment can also be used.
Lipo-suction:
Fettsugning är en kroppskonturprocedur som innebär att överflödigt fett avlägsnas från olika delar av kroppen. Det används ofta för att rikta in sig på envisa fettavlagringar som är resistenta mot kost och träning. Fettsugningsprocessen är generellt sett säker och effektiv, men det kan även innebära ärrbildning och domningar eller stickningar i det drabbade området. Vissa patienter kan även uppleva tillfällig svullnad och blåmärken.
- För fettsugning rekommenderas främst som är en kompressionsdyna som fäster med silikongel och ger enhetlig kompressionsfördelning vilket minskar blåmärken och svullnad efter operationen. Vid ärrbildning rekommenderas även Pro-sil stiftet eller Xeragel ärrsalva.
