Liposuction
- Liposuction is a body contouring procedure that involves removing excess fat from different parts of the body. It is often used to target stubborn fat deposits that are resistant to diet and exercise. The liposuction process is generally safe and effective, but it can also involve scarring and numbness or tingling in the affected area. Some patients may also experience temporary swelling and bruising.
- For liposuction it is mainly recommended to use a compression pad that adheres with silicone gel and provides uniform compression distribution which reduces bruising and swelling after surgery. In case of scarring, Pro-sil pin or Xeragel scar ointment is also recommended.
